My last post was about a month and a half ago… and it was about how I’m generally too busy to keep up a blog. I think I need to call it quits, or at least call it “indefinite hiatus.
Not that surprising, really, I’m sure most people who go “hey, I should blog!” come to this conclusion pretty soon after. I just have too much on my plate right now, and this time could be better spent. It was a lot of fun, but not enough to merit the energy it took up.
I may bring this back someday, or I may not. Guess we’ll see.

As long as you are working on that Hebraic swashbuckler…
I recently found your blog. Great to see that I am not alone with my affinity for Swashbucklers. Please keep blogging.
yes yes come back – all for one and all that
Surely you will return with more interesting topic. Is in it?
Well, that’s a shame. :) I just found your blog today, and it’s not often a girl finds a fellow Dumas-obsessee doing substantive blogging! Ah well…
I linked to you from “Redeeming Qualities”, and was impressed to find another extremely interesting blog getting excited about often obscure or at least under-appreciated literature. Pity you stopped, but what you’ve left is still stimulating and sending me off to read books I never thought I would….it’s been a few years now, you must have a lot to write about if you’ve got the time to do it.
Thanks all for kind comments (I do still get e-mails when comments are left here).
Mick, Redeeming Qualities is still in my Google Reader and I read it regularly, so keep that up! Thanks for the thought, but I don’t think blogging is anything I’ll get back to any time soon, I simply don’t have the time.
I do keep writing reviews of books I read here: http://www.goodreads.com/elijahkinchspector but those aren’t as in-depth as what I did here. Basically, any creative energy I have I try to put toward writing books of my own, so blogging may come back when it is self-promotion time. But until then…
