Whoa, Really?

Sorry for so much comics coverage recently, I try to deal pretty evenly with comic books and… uh, book books.
Anyway, I remember there being a Zorro comic sometime in the 90’s that I looked at for about two seconds before being real disappointed with it, what’s more, there have been some very bad uses of the Zorro license recently. That said, this new Zorro comic that’s supposed to start in February is written by Matt Wagner, which is more than promising enough for me to point it out. I’m so old, I bought Mage and Grendel when they were comic books. I really liked Mage. Now its the 25th Anniversary? Sheesh.

At his gallery you’ll see he’s taken a stab at either Cyrano or a Musketeer and that he drew a Zorro after getting excited about Allende’s Zorro. Hmmmm.
Well, I hope he wasn’t TOO excited about Allende’s Zorro, or at least that he doesn’t go emulating it, because I was not a fan. I swear I’m gonna write a post about that one of these days.
