Another Sabatini-related post for today. I just found a pretty great collection of Sabatini dustjackets that are worth a look for those who find such things interesting:

Some fun stuff there, not to mention a good way to discover more of the classic swashbuckling author’s books. Sure, I’ve seen lists of titles, but when there’s a picture and a synopsis I’m much more likely to remember this or that novel.
And jeez, who knew there was a sequel to Scaramouche? I always thought that Scaramouche the King-Maker was some nonsensical subtitle attributed to later printings or something. Although after reading the synopsis, I’m really not sure how interested I am… the novel didn’t really need a second part anyway.
